


The Education Pathway is designed for students who have an interest in working in education. Students will be exposed to the various elements of teaching and learning. Students will engage in and develop beginning educator’s knowledge and skills as they pertain to the learner, learning environment, pedagogy, and professionalism. The traditional Education Pathway is featured below:

​​​Students who are interested in the Education Pathway but do not want to follow the traditional pathway are encouraged to create their own pathway. To create a personal pathway, students should ​look at the classes in the Education Pathway and find courses that are relevant to learning about their career interests. Students should start with an introductory course, choose at least two subsequent courses, and aim to end their pathway with an AP Course, Capstone Course, Dual Enrollment Course or Internship. A pathway should consist of at least 4 credits. A description of each course is listed at the end of the Education Pathway document.
